About Us
What is an Exercise Physiologist?
Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEP) are university qualified allied health professionals who specialise in the delivery of exercise, lifestyle and behavioural modification programs for the prevention and management of chronic diseases and injuries. We use an ‘Exercise is Medicine’ philosophy to provide treatment in the form of exercise. Following an evidence-based biopsychosocial treatment model, we combine expert clinical exercise prescription with lifestyle modification exercise, individualised goal setting and personal support to empower you to reach your exercise goals.
Seeing an AEP can benefit people of any age and exercise ability. We can help you maximise your health and fitness, assist in the prevention and management of chronic disease, guide you through your injury rehabilitation and optimise your athletic performance.
